Service providers for Parliament
The State Parliament administration is the service provider for Parliament - and for citizens who would like to submit a petition or find out more about their Parliament. The functions of Parliament are very diverse: shorthand secretaries write full reports of all plenary sittings, the building services are monitored in the building control centre and PR personnel organise tours of the State Parliament. These are just a few examples of the wide range of duties. Generally speaking, the main task of the State Parliament administration can be described as follows: to ensure the smooth running of Parliament and to ensure that MPs have their organisational, staffing, technological and material requirements met so that they can get on with their work.
